Back to School Info 2023-2024

Parent Tip! The best thing you can do to stay informed is read the SFE Connect email that the school sends out every Friday at 4pm. This has all major information and events at the school, including PTA events. Please also follow the Shadow Forest Elementary PTA on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/S.F.E.P.T.A. 

Meals

The lunch menu for August is now available! Snacks and treats are also available for purchase in the cafeteria. You can add funds to your child's account and put restrictions on what they purchase using the School Cafe website/app. Most grade levels have snack time at SFE and all grades can bring water bottles. Your child's teacher will give you specific info on snack time.

The school calendar, set by the school board, has many important dates that you will want to note. 

Volunteering in Humble ISD

Humble ISD requires all volunteers to register with the district and pass a background check. You can do this at humbleisd.net/volunteer.

Parent Tip! You must register and complete the background check each year in order to volunteer on any Humble ISD campus. It only takes a few minutes. Even if you don't intend to volunteer on campus this year, I still recommend doing it because you just never know; it's an easy step to forget if you wind up being able to volunteer during the day at the last minute!
